Inviting Me to Speak
If you would like to have me speak on your campus or at your church, please use the contact form to get in touch. I am available to speak on the following subjects:
1. The Attributes of God - reclaiming the understanding of God’s nature found in the classic Christian tradition. Can be tailored to Presbyterian and Reformed contexts with a focus on the Reformed Confessions.
2. Does God Feel My Pain? - a Presbyterian and Reformed answer to this perennial question. (This is the big question of Open Theism - a popular movement in the church today.)
3. The Beauty of Holiness - an examination of the value of beauty in Christian tradition. Again, this may be focused on Reformed theology for Presbyterian and Reformed contexts, but doesn't have to be. Could be multiple sessions.
4. How the Protestant Church Has Failed Single People - a look at New Testament teaching about marriage and singleness, considering the implications of that teaching for the life of the church today.
5. A Theology of Romance - especially appropriate for college-age groups or for singles groups. Could be multiple sessions.
6. The Medieval Theological Tradition for Protestants - a look at what Protestants can claim from the pre-Reformation church. Possible focus: the life and work of Francis of Assisi. |
